“So let’s name it! This evil, this money, the Koch Brothers, are inside our community. Behind the name Catapult, the name Koch. I sit under their lights and wear their clothes; I am heated and cooled by them. But they won’t ever have my writing. There’s so much that feels hopeless about the influence of this money, but I am hopeful that independent literary writing and writers can unite to divest from the Kochs. No billionaires in poetry!”
